Entrainment-mixing parameterization in shallow cumuli and effects of secondary mixing events 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Parameterization of entrainment-mixing pro- cesses in cumulus clouds is critical to improve cloud parameterization in models, but is still at its infancy. For this purpose, we have lately developed a formulation to represent a microphysical measure defined as homoge- neous mixing degree in terms of a dynamical measure defined as transition scale numbers, and demonstrated the formulation with measurements from stratocumulus clouds. Here, we extend the previous work by examining data from observed cumulus clouds and find positive cor- relations between the homogeneous mixing degree and transition scale numbers. These results are similar to those in the stratocumulus clouds, but proved valid for the first time in observed cumulus clouds. The empiricalrelationships can be used to parameterize entrainment- mixing processes in two-moment microphysical schemes. Further examined are the effects of secondary mixing events on the relationships between homogeneous mixing degree and transition scale numbers with the explicit mixing parcel model. The secondary mixing events are found to be at least partially responsible for the larger scatter in the above positive correlations based on obser- vations than that in the previous results based on numerical simulations without considering secondary mixing events. 相似文献

The nonleptonic two body Bu,d,s,c decays involving a light tensor meson in final states are studied in the perturbative QCD approach based on kT factorization. The decay modes with a tensor meson emitted, are prohibited in naive factorization, since the emission diagram with a tensor meson produced from vacuum is vanished. While contributions from the so-called hard scattering emission diagrams and annihilation type diagrams are important and calculable in the perturbative QCD approach. The branching ratios of most decays are in the range of 10-4-10-8, which are bigger by 1 or 2 orders of magnitude than the predictions given by the naive factor- ization, but consistent with the predictions from the QCD factorization and the recent experimental measurements. We also give the predictions for the direct CP asymmetries, some of which are large enough for the future experiments to measure. We also find that, even with a small mixing angle, the mixing between f2 and f′2 can bring remarkable changes to both branching ratios and the direct CP asymmetries for some decays involving f2(′) mesons. For decays with a vector meson and a tensor meson in final states, we predict a large percentage of transverse polarization contributions due to the contributions of the orbital angular momentum of the tensor mesons. 相似文献

Chang'E-3 landed on the east of Sinus Iridum area on December 14, 2013, performing China's first successful soft landing on the lunar surface. We present the results on precision orbit determination and positioning of the lander and the rover. The position error of the soft landing trajectory is less than 100 m. A kinematic statistical method is applied to determine the position of the lander and relative position of the rover with respect to the lander. The position difference of the lander is better than 50 m compared to LRO photograph result. Compared with the delta very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) group delay between the lander and the rover, the delta VLBI phase delay can improve the relative position of the rover from ~ 1,000 to ~1 m. 相似文献
