从"李约瑟难题"到席文的中国17世纪科学革命说

通过对“李约瑟难题”研究的系统考察，对李约瑟难题的解答中所面临的困境进行了比较系统全面的分析，特别是对席文解答的分析，指出李约瑟难题所依存的观念语境依然是科学西方主义，只不过是温和的科学西方主义，在席文的中国17世纪科学革命说的基础上，对中国近代科学革命的内涵、特点及意义进行了探讨。     

基于层状二硫化钼-石墨烯构建新型17β-雌二醇电化学生物传感器

合成了层状二硫化钼-石墨烯纳米复合材料.通过将适配体固定在金纳米和二硫化钼-石墨烯共同修饰的电极上构建了一种新型的环境激素17β-雌二醇电化学生物传感器.采用循环伏安、微分脉冲伏安、电化学阻抗等技术对传感器的构筑过程进行表征.对17β-雌二醇与适配体特异性结合的时间及温度进行了优化.结果表明,峰电流与17β-雌二醇浓度在1.0×10-11~1.0×10-8 mol/L范围内呈良好的线性关系.计算得到的检出限为5.0×10-12 mol/L(空白的三倍标准偏差).该生物传感器具有良好的选择性和稳定性.

Mitochondrial dysfunction-induced amphiregulin upregulation mediates chemo-resistance and cell migration in HepG2 cells

The aim of this study was to investigate the contribution of mitochondrial dysfunction to chemoresistance and migration of hepatoma cells. We found that inhibition of mitochondrial respiration and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) depletion resulted in induction of amphiregulin (AR) expression in HepG2 cells. Upon oligomycin treatment of HepG2 cells, the cytosolic Ca²⁺ was significantly raised after 30 min, and the intracellular level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) was elevated 2.2-fold after 4 h. Moreover, the condition medium of oligomycin-treated HepG2 cells was found to stimulate the migration of SK-Hep-1 cells. On the other hand, oligomycin-induced cisplatin-resistance and cell migration of HepG2 cells were attenuated by AR-specific RNA interference (#L-017435, Dharmacon) and a neutralizing antibody (MAB262, R&D Systems), respectively. Together, these findings suggest that mitochondrial dysfunction induced Ca²⁺ mobilization, and ROS overproduction, which modulated the chemo-resistance and migration of hepatoma cells through the induction and activation of AR. Electronic structure and magnetism of compound Nd2FeI7N3

The electronic structure and magnetism of compound Nd₂Fe₁₇N₃ has been studied with MS-Xα method. It was found that there are negative exchange couplings between Fe(f) and Fe(c) atoms in Nd₂Fe₁₇N_x compounds. The interstitial N atoms make the unit cell volume of the compounds increase a little, and hence the strength of negative exchange coupling decreases.

介绍了一种确定稀土化合物Ｓｍ２Ｆｅ１７Ｃｘ晶格中原子坐标的方法，给出了部分原子坐标，并用点电荷模型分别计算了Ｓｍ２Ｆｅ１７和Ｓｍ２Ｆｅ１７Ｃｘ化合物晶场系数。     

The pathogenic role of interleukin-27 in autoimmune diabetes

Interleukin (IL)-27 is an IL-12-related cytokine that can promote both anti- and pro-inflammatory immune responses. This study investigated the potential role of IL-27 in autoimmune diabetes. We detected a high level of IL-27 in diabetic NOD mice. In addition, blockade of IL-27 significantly delayed the onset of diabetic splenocyte-transferred diabetes, while IL-27-treated diabetic splenocytes promoted the onset of the disease, compared with untreated controls. Furthermore, IL-27 up-regulated pro-inflammatory cytokines IFN-γ and IL-17 and down-regulated anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-4, TGF-β, and IL-10 secreted by diabetic splenocytes. These results demonstrate a pathogenic role of IL-27 in T cell-mediated autoimmune diabetes. Received 02 September 2008; received after revision 27 September 2008; accepted 01 October 2008 R.
