Positive observer design for positive Markovian jump systems with partly known transition rates

The paper is concerned with positive observer design for positive Markovian jump systems with partly known transition rates. By applying a linear co-positive type Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, a sufficient condition is proposed to ensure the stochastic stability of the error positive system and the existence of the positive observer, which is computed in linear programming. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the validity of the main results.     

Price–Dividend Ratios and Stock Price Predictability

A long‐standing puzzle to financial economists is the difficulty of outperforming the benchmark random walk model in out‐of‐sample contests. Using data from the USA over the period of 1872–2007, this paper re‐examines the out‐of‐sample predictability of real stock prices based on price–dividend (PD) ratios. The current research focuses on the significance of the time‐varying mean and nonlinear dynamics of PD ratios in the empirical analysis. Empirical results support the proposed nonlinear model of the PD ratio and the stationarity of the trend‐adjusted PD ratio. Furthermore, this paper rejects the non‐predictability hypothesis of stock prices statistically based on in‐ and out‐of‐sample tests and economically based on the criteria of expected real return per unit of risk. Tunable water-based lubrication behavior of alkyl- and fluoroalkyl-silanes

In this paper,we report the tribological properties of self-assembled molecular(SAM) films of fluoroalkylsilanes and non-fluoroalkylsilanes,with different chain-lengths,adsorbed on Si substrate surfaces by covalent bonds.The SAM films were characterized using a universal ball-disk experimental tester in aqueous solutions.The substrate surface was examined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and the SAM films adsorbed on the Si surfaces were inspected by contact angle measurements and XPS.Lubrication studies revealed that several kinds of fluoroalkylsilanes had similar friction coefficients;the small differences were attributed to the chain flexibility.In contrast,differences in the aqueous lubrication properties of SAM films of non-fluoroalkylsilanes were clearly identified.It is suggested that substitution with fluorine atoms and the surface affinities of fluoroalkylsilanes contributed to redistribution of surface changes,causing variations in lubrication behaviors.

A matrix construction of Boolean functions with maximum algebraic immunity

Boolean functions used in a cryptographic system should have high algebraic immunity to resist algebraic attacks.This paper presents a matrix method for constructing balanced Boolean functions achieving maximum algebraic immunity.     

Continuity of solution mappings for parametric generalized set-valued weak vector equilibrium problems

This paper obtains some stability results for parametric generalized set-valued weak vector equilibrium problem. Under new assumptions, which do not contain any information about solution mappings, the authors establish the continuity of the solution mapping to a parametric generalized set-valued weak vector equilibrium problem without monotonicity. These results extend and improve some results in the literature. Some examples are given to illustrate the results.

针对当前房地产业内开发商靠哄抬房价、囤地、囤房以谋取高额利润的不良现象,指出房地产开发商要走出误区、健康获利的唯一途径是制定科学的开发方案,而科学的开发方案依赖于优化的户型面积设计.本文从房地产开发商角度出发,提出利用熵权系数综合评价法,对备选的不同面积的户型进行综合效益评价,并在此基础上给出了以开发商总效益最大为目标的房地产户型组合优化模型,从而有助于开发商形成科学的开发方案.
