Finding the topology of implicitly defined two algebraic plane curves

An algorithm is given for computing in a very efficient way the topology of two real algebraic plane curves defined implicitly.The authors preform a symbolic pre-processing that allows us later to execute all numerical computations in an accurate way.

Preliminary Discussion on the Relationship Between EM Wave Propagation Characteristics and Medium Parameters in Anisotropic Medium

The reflection and transmission characteristics of an anisotropic half-space medium normally illuminated by a plane wave are analyzed by kDB coordination. The general formula of reflection coefficient at the air-medium interface is given, and its validity is also discussed. The possible propagating modes in different mediums and the effect of medium parameters on these modes are emphatically studied. This work provides the theoretical preparations for the parameter reconstruction of an anisotropic material.     

Quick Locating Algorithm for Turning Points in Discrete Point Set of Curve

By using analytic geometric method, a new algorithm is advanced on quick locating for turning points in discrete point set of plane curve. The algorithm is simple in structure and has high computation efficiency, and can quickly locate for turning points in discrete point set of plane parameter curve as well.     

On the Collision Detection Problem of Two Moving Objects Described by Algebraic Sets

In this paper, the collision problem of two moving objects is investigated. The objects are described by two algebraic sets （ellipses or circles in the paper）. The collision problem discussed involves both static and dynamic case. The static case is that each object moves with known velocity. We use nonlinear programming to decide whether the objects collide. The dynamic case is that each object is controlled by a constraint external force which can be regulated online. For the dynamic case, the collision problem can be modelled as a Minmax problem which can be solved by using differential games. If collision occurs, the time and place of the first collision are given. The moving trajectories are provided in the paper.

This paper presents a new method for constructing synthetic matrix which is obtained by extending the given judgement matrices in the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).The consistency relationship among the given matrices and therir synthetic matrix is studied.The method can be used to deal with situations where the number of the given alternatives is larger than nine,and needs less pairwise comparisons thanany others.Thus it will aid in the design of the AHP,which will reduce the information overload of decision maker,a major drawback of the original AHP algorithm.Finally,a numerical example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.

Total quality management in manufacturing: A study in the Singapore context

The paper presents a total quality management (TQM) framework combining the concepts underlying the notions of total quality control (TQC), Just in Time (JIT), manufacturing resource planning (MRP), and quality control circles (QCCs). An integrative model, in which these notions and the related issues are complementarily connected on the same logical plane is presented and it is argued that this is akin to the total systems intervention (TSI) approach in its endeavor to seek manufacturing excellence. It also has similarities to creative problem solving, especially with regard to corporate strategy, but here with an emphasis on the role of manufacturing. However, TQM is an idea of its own, and not a conceptual derivative of systems theory.

虚拟发射装置在投影系统中的定位方法研究

针对现有技术的局限性,提出了一种在三维空间中确定一个物体相对于投影平面的空间六个自由度的方法。阐述了基于激光发射和图像识别的定位技术,采用虚拟发射装置向已知投影平面发射多束激光,通过已标定的摄像机拾取光束在平面的投射图案并计算投射点的位置,进而计算虚拟发射装置相对于平面的位置姿态,对影响定位精度的因素进行了分析。该技术在虚拟消防训练以及虚拟射击训练系统中得到了应用。

无人机数据链变结构对抗攻击导引方式研究

无人机在快速接敌的过程中,传统的导引方法很容易将无人机导引到敌机的火力攻击范围之内.而且传统比例导引法系数的最优解与目标和载机的距离有关,一旦目标机动或存在干扰,跟踪效果都会变差.为此提出了一种基于数据链的无人机变结构对抗攻击导引方式,并进行仿真研究.仿真结果表明,该方法不仅避免把无人机导引到敌机的火力攻击范围之内,而且减小了无人机所需过载,提高了制导精度、速度和鲁棒性,限制了视线角速度.
