On the Family of Thue Equation ｜x^3 ＋ mx^2y-（ m ＋ 3）xy^2 ＋ y^3｜= k

The family of cubic Thue equation which depend on two parameters ｜ x^3 ＋ mx^2 y-（m＋3） xy^2＋y^3｜=k is studied. Using rational approximation, we give a smaller upper bound of the solution of the equation, that is quite better than the present result. Moreover, we study two inequalities ｜ x^3 ＋ mx^2y-（m ＋ 3） xy^2＋y^3 ｜ =k≤2m＋3 and ｜x^3 ＋mx^2y- （m＋3）xy^2 ＋ y^3｜ = k≤ （2m＋3）^2 separately. Our result of upper bound make it easy to solve those inequalities by simple method of continuous fraction expansion.

The Distribution of a CP-asymmetric quantity in the decay channel J / Ψ → π + π ? π 0

The distribution of a CP-asymmetric quantityA in the decay channelJ/ψ→π ⁺ π ⁻ π ⁰ is investigated. This dimensionless quantityA is constructed from the momenta of the π-meson final states, namely A=P _x ^{π +} P _y ^{π −} -P _x ^{π −} P _y ^{π −}, whereP _h,P _x ^h andP _y ^h are the module of the momentum of a hadron h, the x- and y-components of that momentum respectively, theJ/ψ particle is produced by e⁺ e⁻ collision, and the direction of the momentum of e⁺ is taken to be the positive direction ofz axis. There would exists the violation under the combined transformation of charge conjugation and space reflection (CP violation) when the average ofA among a lot of events, 〈A〉, be examined to be nonzero clearly from data. In this way, 748 events are selected from the BES experimental data, and analyzed. The corresponding averageA-value is measured to be 〈A〉 = 0.010 39 ± 0.014 61 ± 0.015 2. Further, some discussion of our result, the size of the data sample being need for further attempt and a possible perspective are given.     

Walsh spectrum properties of rotation symmetric boolean function

Rotation symmetric function was presented by Pieprzyk. The algebraic configuration of rotation symmetric（RotS） function is special. For a Rots n variables function f（x1, x2, …, xn） we have f（ρn^k （x1, x2, …xn））=f（x1, x2, …, xn） for k=0, 1, …, n-1. In this paper, useing probability method we find that when the parameters of RotS function is under circular translation of indices, its walsh spectrum is invariant. And we prove the result is both sufficient and necessary.

Pollen flux and vertical dispersion in coniferous and deciduous broadleaved mixed forest in the Changbai Mountains

The pollen flux in coniferous and deciduous broadleaved mixed forest in the Changbai Mountains is presented in one year's experiments. The results indicate that arboreal pollen percentages are more than 65% and pollen flux is higher than 5000 grain·cm-2·a-1,while less than 2% and lower than 1000 grain·cm-2·a-1 for shrubby pollen,and less than 20% and lower than 3000 grain·cm-1·a-1 for herbaceous pollen for most samples at different heights. The pollen assemblages are similar to those in the samples under 8 m height where Pinus and Ouercus are dominant and followed by the few non-local pollen types,and Fraxinus percentages are high with a few non-local pollen types at 16 m to 32 m height as well as non-local pollen clearly increased at 40 m height. Comparisons between pollen assemblages and vegetation composition suggest that similarities are higher for pollen trap samples than for surface moss samples.

Magnetoelectric and converse magnetoelectric res ponses in TbxDy1-xFe2-y alloy ＆ Pb（Mg1/3Nb2/3）（1-x）TixO3 crystal laminated composites

Measured results of magnetoelectric （ME） and converse magnetoelectric （CME） effects of TbxDy1-xFe2-y/ Pb（Mg1/3Nb2/3）（1-x）TixO3/TbxDy1-xFe2-y （TD/PMNT/TD） and PMNT/TD/PMNT laminated composites are presented. ME effect was determined by measuring laminate voltage output under a Helmholtz-generated AC field biased by a DC field （0-1 kOe） （1Oe = 79.58 A/m）. The CME effect was measured by recording the voltage induced in a solenoid encompassing the ME sample while exposed to a DC bias field and PMNT layer driven by a 10 V AC source. The ME and CME responses in the two laminated structure are linear. The highest values of ME coefficients in TD/PMNT/TD and PMNT/TD/PMNT composites are 384 mV/Oe and 158 mV/Oe, respectively, while the highest values of CME coefficients in the two composites are 118 mG/V and 162 mG/V （1 G=10^-4 T）, respectively.     

Compression behavior and equation of state of Ni77P23 amorphous alloy

The compression behavior of Ni77P23 amorphous alloy is investigated at room temperature in a diamond-anvil cell instrument using insitu high pressure energy dispersive X-ray diffraction with a syn- chrotron radiation source. The equation of state is determined by fitting the experimental data accord- ing to Birch-Murnaghan equation: -ΔV/V0=0.08606P-3.2×10-4P2 5.7×10-6P3. It is found that the structure of Ni77P23 amorphous alloy is stable under pressures up to 30.5 GPa.     

Electrocatalytic oxidation of H<Subscript>2</Subscript>O<Subscript>2</Subscript> at a carbon paste electrode modified with a nickel (II)-5, 11, 17, 23-tetra-tert-butyl-25, 27-bis(Diethylcarbamoylmethoxy) calix[4] arene complex and its application

Electrochemical behavior of a carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with nickel(II)-5, 11, 17, 23-tetra-tert-butyl-25, 27-bis(diethylcarbamoylmethoxy) calix[4]arene (Ni (II)-L) complex and its electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide were investigated by cyclic voltammetric technique in a 5.0×10⁻² mol/L NaClO₄+1.0×10⁻³ mol/L NaOH solution. It was found that Ni(II)-L acts as an effective catalyst for the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide. The modified electrode exhibited a linear response over a hydrogen peroxide concentrations in the range of 2.0×10⁻⁵−1.0×10⁻⁴ mol/L with a detection limit as low as 1.0×10⁻⁶ mol/L. The relative standard deviation was 3.5% for 5 successive determinations of H₂O₂ at 1.0×10⁻⁵ mol/L. The modified electrode was used successfully in rainwater analysis. Photoluminescence from Si-based SiNxOy films

B⁺, C⁺, Si⁺, and As⁺ with dose of 5 × 10¹⁶ cm⁻² were implanted into SiN_xO_y, films grown on crystalline silicon by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition. The ion-implanted samples exhibit their photoluminescence with different intensities and different peak wavelengths after thermal annealing. Especially, the C⁺-implanted SiN_xO_y, films show very intense photoluminescence at green-yellow color region.     

Synthesis and crystal structure of new supramolecular adducts of [PtCl6]2− with cucurbit [7] uril: [(H3O)2 (PtCl6)]3 (C42H42N28O14)2·H2O

A novel supramolecular adduct [(H₃O)₂ (PtCl₆)]₃ (C₄₂H₄₂N₂₈O₁₄)₂·H₂O (1) was synthesized by mixing [PtCl₆]²⁻ and cucurbit [7] uril in solution of hydrochloric acid. The crystal structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
