Judgment of Parameters Correlation——Comprehensive Method

Researching parameters correlation is important to analysis of reliability uncertainty for passive system. The only criterion for traditional method to determine the parameters correlation is the correlation coefficient threshold. This method is subjective and needs improvement. Taking loss of normal feedwater accident of AP1000 passive residual heat removal system( PRHRS)as example,a comprehensive method was proposed to resolve the subjectivity problem of traditional method. Comprehensive method took account of scatter diagram of parameters and thermal transmission rule and significance testing of correlation coefficient comprehensively when judging parameters correlation. By comparing the effect of parameters judged by traditional and comprehensive methods respectively, we found the distance of traditional method was larger than that of comprehensive method,showing some parameters impacting thermal transmission rule removed by traditional method and comprehensive method could judge more precise and scientific parameters. So comprehensive method should be used to judge linear relation between parameters and thermal transmission rule.

They allow engineering all kinds of enzymes in vitro so that new ones with novel functions and features can be obtained by the methods of error-prone PCR, DNA shuffling (exon shuffling), hybrid enzyme, random-priming in vitro recombination (RPR), stagger extension process (StEP), random-directed mutagenesis in vitro, etc., even with little knowlodge of spatial structure and catalytic mechanism of enzymes in advance. Coordination behavior between zinc salts and L-α-methionine

The solubility properties of ZnCl\-2/ZnAc\-2/ZnSO\-4_Met_H\-2O systems at 25℃ in the whole cocentration range have been investigated by phase equilibrium method. The results indicate that ZnAc\-2 and ZnSO\-4 systems are both simple systems, which do not exist any compound; there are 2 complexes formed in ZnCl\-2 system: Zn(Met)Cl\-2 and Zn(Met)\-2Cl\-2·2H\-2O. Under the direction of phase equilibrium result, 2 solid complexes have been prepared in water and characterized by chemical analysis, IR, X_ray diffraction. Their combustion energies have also been determined by means of a RBC_type_1 rotating_bomb calorimeter, and their standard enthalpies of formation, Δ f, coor(s)H O-, have been calculated which are (-828.32±3.00) kJ·mol -1 and (-1 117.08±6.15) kJ·mol -1, respectively.

Kinetic studies of the decomposition reaction of dinuclear Fe(Ⅱ) adducts [Fe₂(N-Et-HPTB){O₂P(OPh)₂}](Cl- O₄)₂ (1) and [Fe₂(N-Et-HPTB) {O₂P(Ph)₂}] (ClO₄)₂ (2) with O₂ have been carried out at low temperature using UV-vis spectra. The decomposition reaction of Fe(Ⅱ)/O₂ adducts was first-order in the experimental conditions, and the activation parameters were obtained. ?H^¹ = 85.62 kJ·mol^-1, ?S¹ = 19.43 J·mol^-1·K^-1 for compound (1) and ?H^¹ = 97.97 kJ·mol^-1, ?S^¹ = 55.68 J·mol^-1·K^-1 for compound (2). These results are similar to those of dioxygen adducts of other metals complexes and natural enzymes such as methane mono- oxygenase (MMOH).

Effect of KBr on the micellar properties of CTAB

The effect of KBr on the size, shape and microviscosity of CTAB micelles has been investigated by means of laser light scattering (LLS),¹H NMR measurements and fluorescence probe. The data obtained from the various techniques are quantitatively in agreement. The R_h of micelles in 0.01 rnol · L⁻¹ CTAB solution increases from 3.5 nm to 43 nm andR _g increases to 89 nm with addition of KBr salt. In this process, both the microviscosity and molecular weight of micelles M_w have noticeable increases, too. The rod-like micelles are formed at 0.1 rnol · L¹ KBr and the worm-like micelles are formed at above 0.2 rnol · L^-1 KBr.

Raman and infrared spectroscopic investigation of some hydrous LnTPPTS complexes (Ln=La,Sm)

The Raman and IR spectra of LnTPPTS·10H₂O [Ln=La,Sm, TPPTS=P(m-C₆H₄SO₃) ₃ ³⁻ ] complexes are reported. Based on the observed Raman and IR characteristic frequencies, a vibrational assignments has been made for these complexes. Coordination induces a lengthening of the S−O bonds and a shortening of the C−S bond. The C−S stretching frequencies should therefore increase while the position of the should move to a lower wavenumber. Direct electrochemistry and electrocatalysis of horseradish peroxidase in MnO2 nanosheet film

A novel material MnO2 nanosheet has been used as the support matrix for the immobilization of horseradish peroxidase （HRP）. HRP entrapped in MnO2 nanosheet film exhibits facile direct electron transfer with the electron transfer rate constant of 6.86 s^-1. The HRP/MnO2 nanosheet film gives a reversible redox couple with the apparent formal peak potential （E^0＇） of -0.315 V （vs. Ag/AgCl） in pH 6.5 phosphate buffer solution （PBS）. The formal potential E^0＇ of HRP shifts linearly with pH with a slope of -53.75 mV.pH^-1, denoting that an electron transfer accompanies single-proton transportation. The immobilized HRP shows an electrocatslytic activity to the reduction of H2O2. The response time of the biosensor for H2O2 is less than 3 s, and the detection limit is 0.21 μmol · L^-1 based on signal/noise = 3.
