To avoid civil airspace menace caused by escape of tethered balloon, a solution of explosive fuse built-in top half-circle of tethered balloon detonated by electric detonator was provided. A self-destructive set of tethered balloon detonating explosive fuse was designed and developed. The test results indicated that the method of tethered balloon self-destruction controlled by pressure is viable.
