Abstract:In order to obtain the light guide plate with better optical uniformity,the influence of the scatter netted dots density on the optical uniformity of the light guide plate with bilateral incident light-emitting was studied.Firstly, the working principle of the light guide plate in the liquid crystal display is analyzed.Furthermore,through the theoretical analysis obtain that the density of the scattering netted dots of the light guide plate increases with the distance from the light source.The optical irradiance of the light guide plate is simulated using TracePro software when the dot density decreasing from the center position to both sides,The results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.The experimental results show that the optical uniformity of the light guide plate is 82.54%. Through the research on the density of the scattering netted dots plate of the light guide plate, it provides a theoretical basis for the development of the light guide plate.
