Abstract:Being one of the unconventional reservoirs, buried-hill reservoir theory matured in recent years and some breakthroughs were achieved. High production industrial oil flow was tested in Bongor basement reservoir by CNPC in 2013, achieving significant breakthrough in overseas basement reservoir firstly. As buried hill reservoir was discovered first in this basin, reference data was limited, so a series of challenges aroused, especially in lithology identification, reservoir space description, reservoir identification and evaluation Based on the analysis of a large number of core data, the basement lithology in Bongor basin was basically clarified. According to the logging responses of different lithologies, the logging lithology identification criteria were established to analyze their mechanical properties and find out lithologies easy to develop fractures. Combing logging response, whole hydrocarbon value, and hydrocarbon peak to baseline ratio, reservoir and fluid property identification criteria were established firstly in Bongor basin and show good application result.
