Abstract:he contamination of antimony in the soil is increasingly severe. Antimony is non-essential to plants, but can be readily taken up by plants to enter the food chain. The effects of antimony solution in different concentrations on soybean germination potentiality, germination rate, germination index ,vigor index, root length and the content of Sb in soybean seeds was studied in this paper. The results showed that the antimony solution under 200 mg/L conducted positive effect on soybean germination while checked the root length. All the seeds under different concentration germinated. The germination index and vigor index increased along with increasing concentration of antimony, and the strongest role in promoting was 15 mg/L. The determination result of soybean seedling by ICP-MS showed that the capability to uptake antimony for shoot was higher than root. The antimony content of shoot was highest rang from 15 mg/L to 50 mg/L.
