Several fundamental problems such as the implication, definition and classification of uncertainty, the difference between error and uncertainty etc. are analyzed and discussed, and then a few renewed views and ideas are presented in this paper. The aim of the discussion is to improve the understanding of these problems, some of the terminology, definitions and their applications.
