Abstract:

Under the urgent battlefield environment, how to maintain or recovery the combat effectiveness of equipment with limited time, manpower and resources to ensure the ability of continuous mission-performing, has become one of the most concerned issues for equipment support commanders. In this paper, the equipment performing multiple missions is studied and varies factors such as maintenance time, imperfect maintenance, personnel skill level and equipment performance status are taken into consideration. Aiming at maximizing the minimum phased mission reliability, a selective maintenance decision model considering maintenance task assignment is established, and genetic algorithm is utilized to obtain the optimal solution. The influences of mission duration and personnel skill level on the decision objective are analyzed through an example, and the validity of the proposed model and algorithm is verified.

Key words: selective maintenance, imperfect maintenance, task assignment, reliability, genetic algorithm (GA)
