A holographic storage scheme for video data storage and retrieval based on the digital communication model is de-signed. For the features of noises in the holographic storage system, some methods of digital signal processing including two-di-mensional(2-D) shifting interleaving, encoding and decoding of modulation-array code and method of soft-decision, etc. areproposed and employed. The results of experiments shown that those measures can effectively reduce the influence of noise. Asegment of video is retrieved successfully afer holographic storage by using those techniques.
