    摘要:

    运动检测和码率控制是面向监控的视频编码器重要的组成模块。传统视频编码器需要增加大量额外的存储器和电路完成以运动检测功能,且码率控制算法也比较复杂。为解决这两个问题,本文提出了一种基于运动检测的码率控制算法。在视频编码器的传统架构上,以较少的硬件消耗实现了运动检测,并以上述运动检测为基础实现了视频向量的复杂度分析和码率控制。实验结果证明,相对于传统算法,本文提出的算法以较少的硬件消耗完成了运动检测和码率控制, 大幅降低了码率控制算法的计算量,达到了很好的效果,并对多种视频制式有较好的兼容性。

    Abstract:

    Motion-detection and rate-control are both important modules in the video-encoding system for surveillance. Conventional video encoder needs large amount of extra memory and circuit to implement the motion-detection function, and has a large computational complexity on rate-control function. To solve the aforementioned problems, this thesis proposed a rate-control algorithm based on motion-detection. Based on conventional video encoder architecture, the algorithm applied motion-detection function with fewer hardware cost, applied complexity-analysis and rate-control function based on the motion-detection result. The experiment result approved that the algorithm reached desired motion-detection result and rate-control result while with lower hardware cost and with a satisfying compatibility with various of video encoder standards.
